Riding Lessons
At Rockin' S, we believe in creating confident, capable riders through one-on-one instruction, a strong foundation in horsemanship, and a whole lot of fun. Our lesson program is built for real-life growth in and out of the saddle—whether you're brand new to horses or looking to sharpen your skills.
We keep our program small and personal, with only 1–2 trusted lesson horses available. That means you or your child get focused attention, a quiet environment, and a steady path to progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What ages do you teach?
A: We work with all ages of kids, all the way up to adults. Each lesson is customized to meet the rider where they’re at—whether they’re just starting out or wanting to build more confidence in the saddle.
Q: Do we need our own horse or tack?
A: Nope! We have lesson horses and provide the necessary tack and helmets. If you do have your own gear, you’re welcome to bring it.
Q: How long are lessons?
A: Lessons typically run 45 to 60 minutes depending on the rider’s level, stamina, and the day’s focus. For newer students, we might spend time on groundwork, grooming, and tacking up as part of the learning process.
Q: Do you teach group lessons?
A: We offer very small group lessons when students are riding independently and have reached a certain skill level. In most cases, especially for younger kids or beginners, We recommend starting with private lessons so we can build a solid foundation.
Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged, as spots are limited.
Q: How often should we schedule lessons?
A: Weekly lessons work best for consistent progress. We're happy to discuss what schedule fits your goals and availability.

Private Riding Lessons (1-on-1 instruction)

Group Lessons (2 riders max)

Offered only when riders are confident, independent, and at a similar skill level.
Family Discount:

Horsemanship Lesson
Horsemanship lessons are one on one lessons to help people gain more respect and control of their horses. A lot like clinics, we work on groundwork and saddle exercises. Building confidence in both rider and horse is one of our main goals! These are tailored to induvial needs or wants. Have some problems you want extra help on or maybe you just want to focus on something specific these lessons are for you on your personal horse. Our facility has a round pen and arena for haul ins. Travel to your place may be available.
